Micah Morris to play in Osprey Valley Open on sponsor’s exemption

Caledon, Ont. – The Osprey Valley Open announced on Wednesday that professional golfer and YouTube sensation Micah Morris will tee it up in this year’s tournament on a sponsor’s exemption.

Morris, a native of Guthrie, Oklahoma has been documenting his journey in professional golf to his fans, which include 443,000 YouTube subscribers and 307,000 Instagram followers, for over a year. The 28-year old’s unique brand of content offers viewers a blend of insight and candor into the world of chasing the dream of success in professional golf. 

The tournament, which takes place July 27-30 at TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley’s Heathlands course, will mark Morris’ first start on a PGA TOUR-sanctioned Tour.

“I’m so pleased to be heading to TPC Toronto to tee it up in my first PGA TOUR Canada event,” said Morris. “Competing in a tournament of this level will be one of the biggest moments of my career so far. I’ve been working incredibly hard to prepare myself for challenges like this, and I can’t wait to test my game against some outstanding players later this month.”

In addition to the 72-hole PGA TOUR Canada competition on TPC Toronto’s Heathlands course, Osprey Valley Open event week includes Pro-Ams, The Road to TPC Toronto junior competition Finale, an Executive Women’s Day and more.
